The
SIA Methodology for Phase Three
The main purpose of the study was to build upon the findings of previously completed (Phases One and Two) studies and to develop a methodology for use in Phase Three SIA studies of ongoing and projected WTO negotiations. This was undertaken in ways that involved effective dialogue with interested stakeholders and which helped to strengthen the existing international network of SIA experts and their involvement in the SIA debate. Three reports were submitted to the European Commission: an Interim Report (end October 2001), a Mid-term Report (end January 2002) and a Final Report (end March 2002).
